Mr. M. O. Owusu-Twum


The mission of the Registrar’s Department is to support the Academic, Research and Public Service efforts of the University College by providing efficient, effective and professional service to our various client groups through the provision of credible information, advice and caring support in a safe inspiring setting.


The Registrar assists the President and Executive Chairman in the day-to-day administration of the Academic Business of the University College, development and Implementation of Academic Policy and Quality Enhancement. The Office provides secretarial support for the Board of Trustees, the Academic Board, and Committees. It also provides student related administrative and information systems and management information to support the University’s processes, monitoring and implementation. It monitors and control student’s records, information management, timetabling, examinations, assessment, conferment and students systems. It provides counselling and guidance to management and students on academic programmes, course and credit transfers eligibility and options. The Office of the Registrar promotes an environment supportive of the University’s mission and vision, student- centred services and teaching excellence.


Mr. Maxwell Oduro Owusu-Twum holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (HRM Option), from the University of Leicester, UK. He holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and other relevant certificates.


Mr. Owusu-Twum has several years of industrial and academic experience. Few places worth mentioning are; the Volta River Authority, Tractor and Equipment, Ghana Telecom Co. Ltd, Ghana Telecom University College as Deputy Registrar, Data Link University College as Registrar, and since 2011 has been the Registrar of Radford University College. Mr. Owusu-Twum has considerable on-the –job training locally and externally. He was admitted ‘MEMBER’ of Ghana Institute of Management in March 2008.
